Hybrid Schedule

On this Tuesday, January 18th we will transition to a longer instructional day. We realize the importance of a balanced instructional format; therefore, the required screen time per content area will be limited to 30 minutes. This means that students will participate in synchronous instruction (virtual face to face) for no longer than 30 minutes per content area. The remainder of the period will be used for independent learning. Teachers will remain online to assist students as needed. The new schedule will be posted here and in VERGE. We appreciate your support and are here to help everyone transition into our new virtual learning space. Please stay safe!

Internet Services

Free for Two Months to New Customers Now Through December 31: We are extending our offer of 60 days of complimentary service for new customers through December 31. Internet Essentials is available to all qualified low-income households for $9.95/month.

For all Internet Essentials customers, the speed of the program's Internet service has increased to 25 Mbps downstream and 3 Mbps upstream.
Households with outstanding debt owed to Comcast may be eligible for Internet Essentials. We are waiving this qualification if you apply and are approved by 12/31/20. After 12/31/20, standard eligibility rules apply. Click here for all details.

Registration

We are pleased to announce the opening of the Annual Verification function within the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Parents/Guardians can now complete their annual verification of existing student Census information via the portal.

Parent/Guardian:

Parent/Guardian must have an Infinite Campus Parent Portal account to verify/update their student(s) information.
Parents/guardians who do not already have a portal account should visit https://www.dekalbschoolsga.org/infinite-campus/ for instructions.
Parents/guardians who have forgotten their portal username and/or password should click on the Forgot username? or Forgot password? link as appropriate on the portal login page (https://campus.dekalb.k12.ga.us/campus/portal/parents/dekalb.jsp).

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year. I hope all of you had an enjoyable summer and are safe and well. Although, this year may look differently initially, we are committed to providing our students with a quality education and insuring that they are engaged and well-adjusted to this virtual environment. The staff has worked extremely hard throughout the summer to become well versed in the various virtual learning platforms. This will allow for our students to experience a seamless integration into a virtual learning environment. Look for regular updates and messages through school messenger, our website and your child’s teacher. We appreciate your support as we provide your children with the quality education that they deserve.
